How do you create a limit value to plot it on a graph?

Permanently deleted user -

You can create a limit that you want to see plotted in a graph of a Sound Measurement Point in 2 different ways in the noise portal.

  • Method 1 is to first create a compliance criterium (the limit value itself) and then select it as a preset when creating a notification.
  • Method 2 is by just creating a notification without first creating a compliance criterium.

For complex rules (like different threshold during the day/evening/night) we recommend using method 1, for more simple limits we recommend using method 2.

Method 1

Login to the portal and find the menu item called Compliance Criteria.

Create a New Compliance Criteria.

The fields marked with a * are mandatory.

Save this Compliance Criteria once the details are filled in. Once saved it will look like this:

The next step is to create a new notification, where you choose the Compliance Criteria you just created.

In the Preset tab, choose the Compliance Criteria you just created.

The Email / SMS option can be turned off if you do not want to be alerted.

Method 2

Instead of creating a Compliance Criteria and Notification in two steps, you can also create them both from the New Notification page.

Deleting limit values

Deleting the Compliance Criteria and Notification will get rid of the limit in the graph.
