Sound Measurement Points have the option to store presets which can be used to fill in standard settings when creating new events in the Sound Event environment.
This is useful when working with permits and fixed values for LAeq and LCeq limits.
In the settings of the Sound Measurement Point, find the Sound Event Presets tab:
Click the Add preset button and fill in all the required fields to create as many presets as needed. Click the X button to remove presets that are no longer needed.
When using time mode Range, the Sound Event start- and end times can be chosen within the preset range, up to the maximum duration.
When using time mode Fixed, the Sound Event start- and end times are locked to the preset values.
The optional Event type field can be used for matters such as an identification code for the type of event to which the permitted values apply. This is also stored for each Sound Event pre-filled using a preset. May be left blank if not needed.
Don't forget to click the Save button to store your presets.
When creating a new Sound Event within the Sound Event environment, select this measurement point to receive the option to select a preset to use its values:
After selecting a preset, the values will be filled in and cannot be edited as long as the preset remains selected. The time and duration must then also adhere to the preset's rules.
