Our RMA portal allows you to send back devices either by selecting single devices or by adding them in bulk.
After adding your devices its possible to add images and converse directly with our operations department using your RMA number.
The RMA tool allows you to easily submit a return request for one or more defective products or a device that has reached the end of its lifecycle.
You can choose from three types of requests:
- Standard, a standard RMA/repair request;
- End of life - Recycling, an end-of-life request where you return the product for recycling;
- End of life - Missing, an end-of-life notification without return (e.g. in case of loss or theft).
Clearly describe the issue, add any relevant information if needed, and submit the request.

A Standard RMA request can have several reasons;
- Measurement Problem, the sensor is sending data but this data is wrong or its not sending all data
- Connection Problem, the sensor has problems connecting to the Munisense Platform
- Needs an upgrade, most of our devices are upgradable using OTA, however some are not upgradable and can be send back under this reason.
- Physical Damage, the sensor has been damaged physically.
- Other, please fill in the additional fields
RMA in bulk
You can also import the sensors in bulk, to do this you can use the example CSV provided in the portal.
You need to procide the sensor name, like mslvx00001, the type and the reason (only needed when the type is standard. The capital enum values are required, there is a mapping below.
Keep in mind that importing using the CSV option does not check if the sensors are still coupled to existing measurementpoints in the portal!
Press the save as concept button to verify your sensors, add images and add additional information.
