Getting started
The easiest is to have your Noise Monitoring Station (NMS) and, when applicable, your gateway close at hand. Make sure your NMS (and your Gateway) are fully charged and connected to the internet.
Log in to the portal using the username and password that you received from us per e-mail.
Main menu:
The main menu on the left is grouped in three sections:
-
Measurement data
To visualize the actual measurement data. -
Configuration
To configure your measurement projects and or configure/calibrate your devices. -
Management
To inspect the operational status of the installed equipment. For instance to help you troubleshoot or inspect the latest radio link quality or battery status.
Create measurement point:
For your first measurement it is key to create a measurement point: You can only see measurement data when a NMS station is linked to a measurement point.
-
Choose Configuration -> Measurement point. A list of available measurement points is displayed.
-
Press [+New] to create a new measurement point
-
Enter a name at Description (@ Global Properties)
-
Enter a location of your measurement point, by typing the address in the search field (@ Location). Fine-tune the measurement point’s location by placing the marker in the map.
-
To save the measurement point choose [Save]. Your (empty) measurement point is created.
-
Link your NMS to the measurement point, with the name/serial number of your NMS+ or samurai channel.
-
Define the start date and time.
Note: you can link NMS that are already in the list, although this is not recommended. -
Press save.
Your measurement point is by default added to the ALL group, and you can show the measurement data on your map or graphics and start analysing.
