Mounting NMS to lamposts

In permanent or semi-permanent situations, NMS stations can be easily mounted on lampposts.

Below a picture of some existing installations.

1. Picture 1 and 2, shows mounting with a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is used to mount the NMS at a certain distance, > 25 cm is ok, from the lamppost to avoid interference with acoustical reflections.
2. Picture 3 shows direct use of the mounting material supplied with the NMS.
3. Picture 4 shows mounting on a mounting bracket and using a solar panel for energy.

In these examples (1, 2 and 3) the lamppost provides the power, via the Power adapter which is placed inside the lamppost. The 24V DC cable is routed through the lamppost towards the NMS station. A hole of 12 mm is drilled into the lampost and a cable Gland is used to guide the cable from inside to outside.
