How can I monitor construction noise?

The first step in monitoring construction noise is creating a new group. If there's already an existing group with measurement points, sound meters, and users for the construction noise project, you can use it immediately.

First, fill the group with all the measuring points that will be used during the project and preferably connect the meters immediately so that everything can be checked in the dashboard step whether it is working.

 

Then create a new project via the menu under the heading Construction Noise -> Projects:

 

Give the project a name and set start- and end times. Create a new project for each budget year to accurately monitor the noise budget. Add the construction project to the appropriate group and click Save.

On the following page, select Edit to add the participating measurement points and configure the construction noise regulations, including any permitted exceptions.

 

Add the measuring points and configure the permitted regulations. Adjust times and limits if necessary.

 

View current and historical values of all receiver measurement points in the dashboard and monitor the available budget during the construction period:
