There are 2 ways to download audio files to your computer.
Via the Graphics page
See https://munisense.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212424265-How-to-use-the-audio-streaming
Note: this only allows you to download audio as MP3 files.
Via an export job
This option gives you the most control, and is recommended when wanting to download larger pieces of audio from our platform.
Using this method you can also download WAV audio from Sound Measurement Points that have a MSNP device coupled to them. Our MSSP devices do not support WAV audio.
- Go to the Export page
- Enter a description for this new export job
- Select your group, and from what Sound Measurement Points you wish to download audio. Or choose `Select All` to automatically select all measurement points in the selected group.
- On the right hand side select Export Audio
- Enter the start and end timestamps between which audio will be downloaded
- Choose the type of audio to export
- Audio Stream
- This will download audio that has already been streamed from the sensor to our platform.
- Audio format: Ogg
- Audio Stream Wav
- This will download WAV audio directly from MSNP devices. The MSNP needs to be online.
- Exporting large time periods will take a long time to download from the sensor, and will take up a lot of bandwidth!
- Audio format: Wav
- Audio Stream
- Click Save
On the next page, confirm the settings and click Export Data to start the export.
